Offline authentication fails

Symptoms

Offline authentication using the activation registration file fails.

Causes and countermeasures

The following are possible causes and countermeasures.
If none of the causes apply, please contact support with the details you have confirmed.

Cause 1

After generating the "activation request file" sent to the support team,
the "activation request file" was generated again before the license registration operation.

Countermeasures

Generate the "activation request file" again and ask the support team to generate the "activation registration file".

Notes

The contents of the "activation request file" change each time it is generated, even for the same PC and the same user.
The only "activation registration file" that can be used for license activation is the file that corresponds to the last "activation request file" generated.

Therefore, after generating an "activation request file", do not perform the same operation.

Cause 2

You are using an "activation registration file" created for another PC/user.

Solution

Generate an "activation request file" for each PC you want to use and contact the support team.

Notes

  • The "activation registration file" is specific to the PC/user you use.
It cannot be used on another PC because it does not match the authentication information contained in the file.
  • Offline authentication requires file exchange and takes time, so please request it with plenty of time in mind.

Cause 3

The "activation registration file" is corrupted for some reason.

Solution

Generate the "Activation Request File" again and contact the support team.

Caution

The file may be corrupted due to some factors when generating the "Activation Registration File", sending and receiving files,
or decompressing a compressed file.

Cause 4

The hardware configuration of the PC in question was changed after the "Activation Registration File" was created.

Solution

Generate the "Activation Request File" again and contact the support team.

Caution

Since the "Activation Registration File" is specific to the PC and user used,
if the hardware configuration of the PC changes, it may be judged to be a different PC.
