Affected Versions

Lightning Review 1.8.3 and earlier versions

This issue has been resolved in the latest version.

If you are experiencing this problem, please update Lightning Review to the latest version.

Phenomenon

When creating a Lightning Review file (hereinafter referred to as "review file") using the following procedure for an existing review file that contains pointed-out images, the pointed-out images in the file may disappear.

  1. Open the existing review file (①) in LR, and create a new review file (②) with a different name using "File" - "Save As."
(In other words, the existing review file remains, and a new review file with a different name is created.)
  2. Close LR after "Save As," and open the file ② saved with a different name.
info
  • Only images may not be saved in ②.
(All information other than images, such as comments and suggestions, will be saved.)
  • All suggested images from the original review file (①) used for "Save As" will remain.
  • Registered suggested images will not be lost when using "Save As".

Workaround

When you want to create a review file with a different name by modifying an existing review file, please do not use "Save As" but instead use the following steps:

  1. Copy the review file itself in Explorer beforehand, and rename it to create a review file with a different name.

  2. Open the review file created in "1" and make the necessary modifications.
