Multiple nodes with the same name are created in the outline tree
Target version
Lightning Review 1.8 or later
Symptom
When a review file is opened, a node with the same name is created in the outline tree.
Conditions
This occurs when a review file that meets the following conditions is opened.
-
The beginning or end of the node name registered in the outline tree is a blank character (※).
This applies to characters that Windows treats as blank characters, including half-width spaces and full-width spaces. -
A notice has been registered for the corresponding node in the outline.
This occurs regardless of the file type of the document being reviewed.
Workaround
- If the beginning or end of the document name or outline node name is a blank character, delete the character and register it.
- If you use the Lightning Review add-in to perform outline analysis of Office documents, etc.,
Before performing outline analysis, delete leading and trailing whitespace characters from headings and sheet names.
