Multiple nodes with the same name are created in the outline tree
Target Version
Lightning Review 1.8 and later
Phenomenon
When opening a review file, nodes with the same name are created in the outline tree.
Conditions for Occurrence
This occurs when opening a review file that meets the following conditions:
- The beginning or end of the node name registered in the outline tree is a space character (*).
This includes characters that Windows treats as spaces, including half-width and full-width spaces.
- A problem is registered in the corresponding node in the outline.
This occurs regardless of the file type of the document being reviewed.
Workaround
- If the beginning or end of the document name or outline node name is a space character, delete that character before registering.
- When using the Lightning Review add-in to perform outline analysis on Office documents, etc., please remove leading and trailing spaces from headings and sheet names beforehand before performing outline analysis.
